About Greentails
I'm Jeffrey. I started Greentails in 2020, and I still walk every yard myself.
How did Greentails start?
In 2020 a friend of mine started a dog training company. His clients kept needing their yards cleaned, the scooping company they used wasn't cutting it, and the answer was sitting right there. I started scooping yards myself, and I haven't stopped.
Six years in, Greentails is still a one-man company on purpose. I quote your yard and I'm the one who scoops it. There's no crew to train, no rotation, and nothing gets lost between the phone and the yard.
The name
My motto came first: fresh, green, super clean. The name grew out of it. I wanted something short and easy to say, the kind of name that doesn't have to explain itself, and Greentails stuck.
The unofficial staff
Blue and Ash, my own two dogs. Blue is the small black one in the photo. They're the reason the company exists and the toughest customers on the books.

What every yard gets
What I'm proud of
I'm most proud that the company I've worked so hard to build has lasted. Most new companies don't make it a few years, and I've been able to move from a pretty rough apartment to a house, built one yard at a time with no crew and no shortcuts.
