Pooper scooper FAQ
The questions people ask on the phone, answered the same way here.
Do I need to be home for the visit?
No. You get a text when Jeffrey is on his way and another when he is done. The gate needs to be unlocked and the dogs should be inside during the visit.
What happens to the poop?
It gets bagged and goes in your trash can. If you would rather it leaves the property, haul-away is an add-on and Jeffrey takes it with him.
Do you scoop in rain and snow?
Yes. Jeffrey's line is "I'm like the postman." Visits happen in rain, snow, and heat. A visit only cancels for a road he cannot safely drive, and then you get a text and a reschedule.
What if snow is covering the yard?
He scoops what can be found. When a melt uncovers more, tell him and it gets handled. Spring cleanups cover that in-between stretch.
What about my dog?
At sign-up, Jeffrey asks how to get in and out of your yard and whether your dog is friendly. That note stays on your account. Dogs should be in during visits, and a do-not-approach note is always respected.
Do you sanitize your equipment?
Tools get sanitized between every yard and again at the end of each day. Nobody wants one yard's problems walked into the next.
How do I pay?
One invoice at the start of each month, due on the 15th. It lists your visits, your rate, and any add-ons.
Is there a contract?
No. Month to month, cancel by text anytime, and you only pay for work that has been done.
How fast do I get a price?
Usually the same day you text. The quote comes broken down, so you can say yes from your phone.
Which parts of the yard do you cover?
Whichever you pick. Back yard only is the most common plan. Front yards, side yards, and dog runs can be added, each as its own line on the quote.
Do you work Sundays?
No, Sunday is the day off. The route runs Monday through Saturday, 8:30am to 7pm.
My yard is embarrassing. Is that a problem?
No. Yards that have not been touched in months are half of spring. Nobody is judging, and one cleanup later it's done.
