Weekly pooper scooper service

The yard gets cleaned on a schedule and you never think about it again. Weekly is the plan most Greentails customers pick, with twice a week for busy yards and every other week for light ones.

What's in every visit

The routine doesn't change. You get a text that Jeffrey is on his way, so you know to keep the dogs in. He walks the yard in a grid, corner to corner, because poop hides in leaves and along fence lines and a quick lap misses it. Everything gets bagged and goes in your trash can. The gate gets latched, you get a done text, and the tools get sanitized before the next yard.

back and forth, then across, every visit

Which schedule fits

Two or more dogs, or a yard the kids play in every day, go weekly. One small dog and a big lot can get away with every other week. Some customers with three or four dogs run twice a week and swear by it. If you're on the fence between weekly and every other week, pick weekly. A yard slides faster than you think, and weekly costs less per visit anyway.

Add-ons that fit this plan

  • Haul-away. By default the bags go in your trash can. Add haul-away and Jeffrey takes the poop with him instead. It's the most requested add-on we have.
  • Deodorizing. Sprayed after the scoop for yards that hold a smell in summer.
  • Front and back. Plans cover the areas you pick. Adding the front yard, a dog run, or a side yard changes the price, not the routine.

Starting from a messy yard

Most new plans start with a first cleanup, then regular visits keep the yard clean. If you stay on through winter, your rate stays the same all year and there's no spring catch-up fee. So most people don't pause in December.

Weekly plan questions

Do you come the same day each week?

Yes, you get a regular day based on where you are on the route. If weather pushes a day, you get a text instead of a no-show.

What about the weeks it rains?

He scoops in the rain. Snow too. The visit happens unless the roads are genuinely undrivable, and then it's rescheduled by text.

Can I skip a week?

Yes. There's no contract, so you can skip, pause, or cancel by text. Just know a skipped week means double the piles the next visit.

How does payment work?

You get one invoice at the start of each month, due on the 15th. The breakdown shows your visits, your rate, and any add-ons before you ever pay.
